A 2D game with pixel art graphics reminiscent of 8-bit computer games. Gamepad is required -- can't play this with a keyboard. There's a couch co-op mode. Not many reviews on this but there's a demo available, and the dev currently has a live broadcast going on. With an introductory price of C$5.19, it's quite inexpensive.
A psychological horror game. Not much in the way of features, but it has mostly good reviews and it's inexpensive.
This is a VR-only FPS, but it also has tracked controller support. Mostly positive reviews and it's somewhat affordable.
A rogue-like turn-based tactics game based on a cyberpunk theme. Beautiful graphics, and you can purchase the soundtrack as DLC. Currently has very good ratings on Steam.

This was developed by Digital Eclipse (a.k.a., Atari) and published by Konami. It should be good, and it mostly has decent reviews. But a few people complain about the price tag, which is C$59.99.
A nice fresh premise for a game. Couch PvP is available. There's also support for gamepads, both Xbox and DualShock. And the reviews are good so far. Oh yeah, at C$8.99, this is cheap.
Barely game, just a tech demo with visual novel aspects. But it's free and something to put your GPU through its paces.
An online PvP with parkour elements. The cel-shaded graphics are highly enjoyable. You can play with a gamepad. Oh yeah, and it's completely free with no micro-transactions.
I have no idea if this is good but it's clearly made, with love, by a solo indie developer. You can play couch co-op and this has gamepad support for Xbox and DualShock controllers. There's something bizarre about the retro visuals that seems charming to me. Reasonably cheap, and this has Mac compatibility.
Another HOG published by Big Fish Games. Some people like these games, some hate them. Personally, I like HOGs. They offer hours of comfy entertainment. Plus, they're low spec and work on most devices, including on Macs.
This is the follow-up to Ms. Holmes: The Case of the Dancing Men, which came out last year. Not a whole lot of reviews for that one, but here's a sequel.
New low poly visuals. The music also seems quite nice. This whole game was made by one solo indie developer. No reviews yet, but a demo is available to play. With an introductory price of C$16.19, this is slightly expensive for what it is. However, if you like the demo, it's worth checking out.
