they were eliminated because they were blamed in part for nobody knowing you could use that emoji picker to search for our custom emotes I think. I wouldn't mind having them back but its good to have custom emotes pop up first for sure. Could make a c/feedback post

you'll get caught by someone eventually and commercial leases don't have landlord/tenant law protections, meager as they are, so be prepared to move at a moment's notice if discovered. But you could get away with it for years if you're lucky and careful. Worth considering whether or not its really worth the extra space/savings to live like that, sneaking around with the sword of damocles hanging over your head (eviction), and having to disguise your home as an office or workshop or whatever

and even if the landlord doesnt catch on or doesn't care you may get found out by the building inspector. I know a lot of "artist studios" that people were living in for years at a time go shut down that way near me.

I'd reckon it's 75% laptop/desktop and 25% mobile users who are just that committed (effortposts anyhow there's gotta be more mobile users than that overall)

honestly idk if weapons are an exampl of capitalism getting it right. I mean I guess, but only if you mean the bourgeois state not just capitalists of their own accord, they need a lot of prompting and funding to develop anything

I think a lot of people here stopped listening ages ago tbh, but also like yeah, its fine to not listen to content that makes you depressed or put down. I feel like CTH largely exists to use humor as a coping mechanism for how dark things are, so if the humor isn't working for you then maybe its just not for you and that's fine. Not listening to CTH isn't counterrevolutionary, not watching the news isn't counterrevolutionary, what you do is what matters, not what you consume, and even if the consumption mattered it wouldn't be worth making your quality of life worse day to day to get that slop.

I still listen, maybe 50% of the time? probably less but it varies.
