If you watch the original video it's apparent. He calls them Japanese even after they say they're Chinese (they're waving Chinese flags btw), and says other deranged shit.

You are very correct, and I am very dumb. I probably should've looked it up first.

If the Imam Khomeni Base (seriously who chose this name) is the one I'm looking at on Google maps, then that's a really difficult launch and very close to the equator, no? At first I assumed it would be toward the north.

The TikTokCringe thread that was posted a day earlier with her side of the story legitimately has 0 sensible people, though.

As per the logic described above, the ICJ disagrees with Israel:

They did not grant the first two provisional measures, though, which is what Israel asked for in paragraph 57.

we're all having a good time in here, so that tracks

So we all know NIST is being puppeteered by the NSA, specifically in regards to quantum-secure encryption, which means you probably can't use that in certain situations. What are non-14-eye governments doing with encryption? Does anyone have any interesting sources or names of algorithms or anything that can help in this regard?

Kinda cringe for an origin of a creed, but it's a good rallying phrase. Surprisingly succinct.

"To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic."

Are there any similar phrases you've seen popularized by a game?

Both in the macro and at the micro scale, Genshin Impact is about communism. so we all know how in genshin impact there are archons, gods that are appointed by celestia that rule the 7 nations that currently exist, and there are civilizations long gone. So far we have discovered two celestial nails that wiped out the civilization at dragonspine and the other civilization. we know that the nations that were wiped out were advancing far beyond their capabilities, and potentially looked to usurp celestia's throne. so my theory is that they were smitten by celestia (america) because they were communist. also khaenriah is the biggest example of this, but this is obvious, which is why i did not bring it up until half way into my memerant. additionally, as the traveler we are the witness that can record information even as we go through samsara, which is what i would call Marx and Communists et al. as we saw through the lies of the dominant class to attain class consciousness no matter the point in time during our world's cycle. also in the latest archon quest (spoiler alert for masquerade of the guilty AQ) we learn that focalors was cursed by celestia, so she hid herself and used furina to take over her role as an archon, until she sacrificed herself to stand up to celestia. this is reminiscent of how china is playing with the bourgeoissie in their country to pretend they are capatilism. (end spoiler) also also also we know that there were old old civilizations like the seven sovereigns that existed in what was yet to become teyvat when phanes came and killed or subdued them all representing the settler state of america. actually the world of genshin has discrete periods of time that could potentially represent the well known developments of historical materialism if i cared to stretch the truth enough.

I hope this elucidated the world of Genshin Impact and convinced you that it is Marxist. Please repost to /r/Genshin_Lore

edit fuck turns out someone did this already ironically-unironically on the actual sub 💀💀

These countries have the citizenry usually unarmed, while the military is usually highly homogeneous (usually ethnic and class unity within the military, and fiercely loyal to their masters).

Many of the citizens and residents that would benefit from material conditions improvement are also some of the least connected to the land, as they are usually immigrants whose families are elsewhere. They would not be protecting their families in any conflict, and would not benefit from the improvement to the lives of legal citizens.

It just seems that the periphery is better equipped for revolution, and Maoist third-worldism is more correct at analyzing the world. But maybe I am going about this analysis completely wrong, so please feel free to correct and link me to resources. Thanks guys

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Can't quite put my finger on why it is satisfying, but the build-up and characterization (and the double meanings like in the clip), which merits a second watch probably, tickles my brain. Can't wait to go back and read up on what people thought after the season's over.

That is what actual genocide denial looks like.

I remember reading about their internal structure a few years back, which made it seem independent from foreign government interference, which linked it to being the reason behind the Kunduz Bombing by the US. I wanted to revisit that armed with all the new stuff I learned during those years, and I was curious if anyone else has anything interesting about MSF. Doesn't necessarily have to be from a marxist perspective, but that is welcome too.

Seems pretty obvious, but when you're in an argument it isn't that obvious.

Had someone try to send me a link to refute something about the hospital bombing. I put it through Alienvault and its registered in Isntreal, and it has a .biz TLD. Clearly they are farming our IP addresses to use in further harassment campaigns.

Do not click.

Almost like it's unconscionable and indefensible, so social media, as well as the MSM, chose to suppress it.

For some reason, I can't find this after a lot of searching. Does anyone remember this?

Cursory search shows some really old threads where it is mentioned often with 0 or maybe a couple replies. One of the resource threads mentions an old DIY listing website that was seized by the FBI I think.

I wanna talk with my favourite commie trans people about criminal activities. (fedposting)

If there is interest I can maybe type something up for HRT sources.

Known issue (#1882) lol ignore. Serves me right for not checking first. No action taken on it, though.

Steps to reproduceDiscovered this by accident, and I don't have any concrete steps or evidence.

When I refresh, instead of my username and PFP at the top right I see someone else's for a brief moment before (presumably as the XHR completes) it is replaced by my own. It looks like the server prerenders the HTML doc with someone else's information in that username area, probably the person who requested the page last. Maybe it's the specific page, maybe it's the person who requested any page on the website.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a post
  2. Reload.. probably only on hard reload
  3. Hope to see someone's name before you see yours

Sometimes it doesn't do this. Maybe because I was the last person to send a request? Maybe the servers and internet is too fast at that moment?

Obviously the issue isn't so bad if it's contained to the top-right username, but potentially someone else can see what other people's pages generate, and I don't know enough about Lemmy to know if there's something sensitive there.
