"Just be happy with your chains or someone else will put heavier ones on you"

Great quote. Emotional fear porn is how so much is justified and sold to people. Fear is an incredibly strong motivator. Nothing new is achieved and no progress is made by cowering in the chains you find yourself in and thinking it's too risky to try to break free, lest your jailor punish you, or you find a new jailor down the road.

When did my brothers and sisters spirits become so broken that they lack any will to fight in even the most meager ways for their own liberty?

Yeah, I definitely don't think Binance exists solely to target XMR. It exists to try to hammer crypto at large into a traditional centralized legacy banking framework of compliance and control.

Many involved have and will get filthy rich and powerful and well connected in the process. Some will be sacrificed. This is why the centralized exchanges have been tolerated or encouraged by states around the world.

People who rely on centralized solutions instead of decentralized ones in this space have some more rude awakenings ahead of them.

I agree. Claims like this need to be checked, or I consider them pure speculation.

They will fail, clowns.

100%

And then we laugh at them, just as you're supposed to do with clowns like these.

Someday, people will realize that they were born free.

Even though I'm NOT licking any wounds, the read was worth it for that quote alone. The day when my brothers and sisters around the world wake up to that truth can't come soon enough.

What shortwavesurfer already replied is great.

Adittionally, many have speculated for a long time that the centralized exchanges do not have the underlying Monero and that the liquidity and supply is synthetic, also known as "paper trading" or the equivalent of IOUs. This is how the traditional finance sector and stock markets operate. By selling the same underlying assets many many times over and creating synthetic or faked representations in traders account hoping all of them will never be called for redemption at the same time. Same goes for bank deposits. It's all fakery.

If this gets exposedori the practice stops, there will be true price discovery in the market and value cannot be manipulated by inflating or deflating the exchange prices artificially.

I'm painting the picture in broad strokes here. You can spend many hours researching the many ways these manipulations are done and their impacts on markets.

Great take. Love it. Long live Monero.

Sounds like a great service. Always in favor of more ways for people to actually use crypto. Keep it up!

I'm happy to see Monero adoption increasing and more open source projects utilizing it.

Thanks for the feedback on Kuno. I don't know much about the org. I'll look for any post you make with a more in depth review if you make it.

To the downvoters, I'm curious, are the downvotes because:

A. You are opposed to fundraising for any cause here.

B. You don't think stickers are going to do much to impact the situation or raise awareness any further.

C. You don't think Julian Assange should be free.

D. Other _______________ (fill in the blank).
