It's terrible because if I wanted to be something other than white all the things I might have felt any associated with are claimed by white supremacy. Like, damn. Which is worse being proud white or proud of you british ancestry?

I went to a grocery store in the wrong neighborhood. It took me a while to realize I was uncomfortable because there were too many white people. I just bought some fancy cheese and left.
It really is. There is a meetup in my area for a type of thing I am interested in. I checked out the people who were going and they all seemed loanly so I felt hesitant to engage. But like, of course they are. They are going to a meetup. They are doing the work to be not loanly. I am thinking about it for the same reason. Why am I feeling judge about it? This is all ridiculous.
