It might be because a lot of people here are no fans of AI, for reasons such as its electricity use, and theft of online content.

I see you reinstalled the app. There is a possibility that your Lemmy instance was unavailable due to maintenance causing the problem. Then it became available again while you reinstalled, making it look like the reinstall fixed it.

Porn categories in general are off-putting. In addition to your example there's also "lesbian" which is two females enacting something for the interest of the male viewer. Cuckolding and sph are massively irritating and harmful as well in my opinion.

If the domain could be displayed in the list view, then it would be immediately apparent why it is not loading and you can move on.
(I'm OK with not seeing Redgif stuff, but a lot the time they don't show 'failed to load' for a while, so you think it may be some image still loading.)
