Totally agree. OpenRGB works for me.

Granted, I just turn the "GeForce" light on the GPU off, along with all the other RGB stuff inside the case, but it works. ๐Ÿ˜

He also makes a good CEO and some fantastic GPUs. Great improvement over prior Popes.

Gentoo and Pipewire kinda just works.

I expected a battle, like on my work Ubuntu laptop with pulse audio, but holy cow... Pipewire ftw.

Unfortunately I still get "The display server protocol that you are using is not supported." when I set the environment variable. Other ideas?

 

I'm old school Xorg, but want to give Wayland a go. The application that has me stymied is VMware Horizon client . It explicitly doesn't support Wayland, but shouldn't it work under Xwayland? How do I explicitly make it run with that, and not fail telling me Wayland isn't supported?
