I don't think the problem is noticing. People all over have hated this USA influence for ages. The thing is: who could do something about it? It took decades for China's economy to get where it is today. People aren't dumb. The skinny kid will usually not get into a fight with the buffed bully if there is not much chance of winning. With the US tripping itself more and more lately, it's just opportunity presenting itself.

Acho que além do que as outras pessoas comentaram também tem a questão do acesso ao conhecimento. É trivial comprar as ferramentas e ir no YouTube aprender a abrir fechadura? Sim, fiz isso e aprendi em um dia a abrir fechaduras simples e gastando 5 pila no Aliexpress. Mas nem todo ladrão vai saber disso. Se 10% dos ladrões não souberem eu já acho que vale a pena o bônus de segurança. E também acho que é bem mais de 10%. Segurança é sobre somar diversas camadas de proteção pra filtrar o máximo de problema possível e reduzir os danos caso um problema ocorra. A fechadura é uma parte só.

I quit a job after three days because they wanted me to install that shit on my machine. It was not mentioned in the interview and I specifically asked how they measured hours worked. They just said "we have a timesheet software where you input your times". It was also an emergency hire for a job someone quit two weeks before deadline. /s Great place to work!! /s
