We’ve learned absolutely nothing from Wish.

I can’t recommend these clips enough. I roll a lot in my sleep, and my fitted sheet used to ride up every night. I installed these clips and the sheet has not budged since.

I have read “The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks” and absolutely find it appalling that her cells were taken without her consent, and she and her family was never properly compensated.

I’ve only worked with HeLa cells once, and they were super hardy and easy to grow. Even if you forget to check on them for a week, they’ll start growing on top of each other when the monolayer becomes fully confluent. Easy to transfect as well.

“Wait, not like that”

As a kid I used to pronounce amoeba as “a-MO-ba” instead of “a-MEE-ba”.

I stopped eating at Chipotle many years ago when my local Chipotle caused dozens of food poisoning cases. Luckily there are lots of mom-and-pop burrito joints where I live, and their food is almost always better and cheaper than Chipotle.

Now do Chipotle next!

It’s the other way around. Fecundity is the measure of how well a person is biologically able to reproduce. Fertility is how many children people actually have, which also depends on voluntary choices.

Can't upload photos (lemmy.world)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Noticed this issue in the past two days. Whenever I try to upload a photo, there is an error. It is still happening as of right now.

The error reads: “Problem uploading image. Please try again.”

Hello! I am getting the issue that the photos I upload to Lemmy (both via Lemmy.world and Voyager) are sometimes shown sideways or upside-down. An example post would be:

https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/7f5e7c64-5a57-4971-b86c-6aeef3cea3a4.jpeg

Someone in the comments says it’s due to the fact that Lemmy (or Lemmy apps) strip the EXIF data from uploaded photos by default. Is it possible to keep the EXIF data just for the orientation of uploaded photos?
