Your system has been up for a full year, I don't know to be amazed or shocked.

I don't want to spoil the video if no one has seen it, but all i got to say is one word: Malevolent.

Windows: Force your users to update at any moment and take forever to do so.

If i'm not mistaken I don't think that Fedora will be affected because Fedora is upstream from RHEL. Now distros such as Alma, Rocky, and EuroLinux may be affected because they are downstream from RHEL. But I can be wrong.

ascii art...xfce mouse... I love it.

Seems like IBM is going to make RHEL closed source. What's everyone's opinion about the move? I feel RHEL is now the evil villain distro of the community.

There are several options. Alma/Rocky, Fedora, Debian, BSD, just to name a few.

You can put Ubuntu on a 15 year old laptop, but it will be extremely slow. Lubuntu or Xubuntu would better suit the laptop.

Is it on Youtube? I don't mind to do my own research.

Only Apple fans would want MacOs. Similar to Arch fanboys with Arch.

I'm not saying that there aren't alternatives to Xorg, or that Xorg is the greatest thing to come out of the 80s. Matter of fact, Mate was created because Gnome 3 was everything that no one wanted and a dev decided to create his own that looked and felt like Gnome 2. What I'm saying is that Xorg will never truly go extinct because someone will write software that supports xorg some form or fashion.

I know, not exactly the most original meme.

Watched DT's video on Debian Bookworm, immediately thought of this.
