The Samson option is a "last ditch effort" thing where if the Israeli military thinks defeat is imminent and inevitable they'll basically commit mass murder/suicide. And part of it was (allegedly) aiming nukes at Europe. If they're willing to hit Europe, there's no barriers left. And if Israel does launch a nuke, there's a significantly real chance that Israel itself will be totally leveled by... who knows at that point.

Not to mention China, Russia... the entire world... is gonna be "wtfing" to the highest degree possible. Like if there's fucking ICBMs flying, well, this is literally the plot of a ton of end of the world books/movies for a reason. Shit happens, "accidents" happen, and it's part of why every country on earth (minus the nukes on Japan when only the US had them, ICBMs hadn't become a thing, and the whole Mutually Assured Destruction concept hadn't come around yet) has been very "No nukes! Not for any purpose!" all throughout until today. Like everyone understands it's doomsday shit. Not to do that thing people do where everything is the end of the world, but nukes launching basically in any context deserves the realistic acknowledgment.

And of course this is all framed from a self-preservation standpoint because I want to emphasize how out of touch, insane, frankly stupid and evil the top leaders are in Israel and US (EU too- don't hear them condemning all this shit).

My point is Bibi won't be needing more weapons at the point he chooses to launch nukes. It means he already lost, he's just throwing wildly, knowing he is surely doomed and probably his entire nation and he would be trying to take us all with him. Or at least Iran.

I believe that's what Hersh outlined a long time ago.

When he wrote that shit and pretty much up until about 10 months I would've said "Ok, bro. Calm down."

The last ~35 years of pure Zionist brainrot have resulted in a situation where I'm like "Yeah... I sure hope the dumbasses in NATO and USSTRATCOM already knew about or took seriously his claims and have a "reverse" Samson option ready to trigger... well, right about now to be honest.

Of course the actual reversal would have some sort of forced denuclearization of Israel right around the time Ukraine was denuclearized. I'm kind of a believer in "If anyone has nukes, everyone should have nukes" with a caveat of "but ideally no one should have nukes." The US, Russia, EU nations, UK, China, DPRK, etc. are obviously all never willingly self-denuclearizing, so, back to step 1.

Anyway, if the US military has any juice left in the lemon of "intelligence" unsqueezed, it will already be preparing preliminary strikes inside Israel to fully destroy their nuclear capabilities. If there's any country on earth that can pull that off it's basically the US due to full collaboration between the state departments and militaries. China and some EU combined forces might be able to do so purely militarily, but I'd assume only the US has the exact locations and numbers of every single nuclear weapon in the Israeli arsenal for the purposes of crippling all of their launch capabilities.

But with Joe RottingCorpse Biden in charge... literally none of that will be happening. This is like the one time the US military should be using all of its intelligence and might to do a shitload of simultaneous strikes all over Israel to cripple its nuclear capabilities... and it will absolutely never happen.

Also, why wouldn't dumbass Bibi just sling a couple warheads at like DC or NYC while he's doing the thing? Is the USAF so confident it can take out incoming ICBMs in real time? (It almost assuredly cannot. If they had that tech they'd be gloating over towards China and Russia daily).

This situation has been resolved before in South Africa. It's just crazy to think how fucking insane the Israelis are and how apparently nonchalant or unmoved the US/EU is towards their blatant aggression far beyond all boundaries. These dumbass boomers and/or ideological Nazis are so fucking hellbent on having their third reich in the Middle East that they would rather die than ever get rid of the current Hitler.

Not really. That may be what the west/Israel cope into believing, but Hezbollah is sort of de facto the Lebanese military. Israel/US can say anything they like to justify baby murder and illegal invasions, but remember that any time the US/Israel is designating any person or group as a terrorist, officially, it simply translates to "They oppose us. We hate that. We unilaterally declare killing them very legal and good. If you question this, then, you are [group/person]"

Basically I'm saying if you understand the truth of the situation, that Israel are the terrorists in reality, and the biggest terrorist group on earth, the USA, backs them apparently to no end, then every excuse and reason they use for actions they take is immediately suspect if not just discarded immediately. I personally try to parse their bullshit. Even liars tell truths from time to time. But if you just assume everything the US or Israel ever says, ever, is a lie or bad faith misrepresentation then you'd be correct like 99% of the time.

I can see a not-far-off future where republicans will absolutely cynically pursue charges against Biden, et al.

Democrats will cry foul to the tune of "b-but we let George Bush do his Holocaust! No one went after him or Cheney or any of them! This isn't fair!!!"

And uh, you know, I don't know how to feel about Hitler prosecuting Himmler for doing crimes they both agreed and still agree are fine and good. Perhaps this is lesser evil voting dems tell me about? I'm always in search of that elusive lesser evil.

But if you elect judges the people might actually vote for someone who openly says they don't think some laws are valid or should be upheld.

Imagine if some teenager doesn't get their life totally fucked because some 70 year old fascist fuckstick who was appointed in 1980 thinks every crime, no matter the magnitude or validity, should be met with the harshest of penalties possible! It would be chaos!

(Basically the mindset of all US politicians and far too many normal people too. "Oh you stole candy? Sorry, penalty is death. You knew the law, scum!" "Moral country" btw. Look how the hogs and even libs have reacted to "progressive" DAs in some cities opting to not prosecute unnecessary petty crimes and instead going harder after crimes of violence including crimes committed by the police (like in Philly. And holllllly fuck do the cops and shitclown Governor hate the DA. People love it though. Objectively bettering things even if only slightly))

I've assumed for years now that they had at least some access to it but him getting arrested (batshit insane btw) might show they didn't or didn't get what they wanted anyway.

I just figured all those "we got inside info on this right wing plan of attack from a telegram leak" news stories were "the FBI gave us this and told us to say it wasn't from us." Apple/Google engage in similar obfuscation of what access the feds have. With Google, well, just assume "all." With Apple it's probably also "all" but they insist that isn't the case. It seeks almost certain though they do quietly cooperate with feds to help unlock devices and then feds just cite some technology without mentioning Apple's probable role in creating it.

Shit sucks, the NSA (among many) should've never been allowed to exist. It's all getting worse too. 20 years ago an arrest like this (transport back the general idea "some guy makes a program people used for naughty naughty") would be a headline for maybe a month at least. It would be discussed for sure and hogs and dipshit ghouls would defend it and nothing done about it. Now it's just "oh? Russia? Huh. Oh. Ok. Yes, m'lord..."

Damn I got excited thinking this meant Victoria Nuland....

The right wing will be going hog wild for the next... forever... if this turns out to a clear cut assassination attempt as it now appears. Expect weaponization of the term "stochastic terrorism" against the democrat types. And, to an extent, they won't be wrong. If you call a guy Hitler 2.0 you are kinda telling people to stop that guy. Of course they ddi the same thing with the 2020 election calling it stolen. If you truly believed there was a deep state coup, isn't it logical to do something maybe like Jan 6? Right wingers are always better at the bad faith messaging though, so, I see absolutely nothing good coming from this. Maybe some good memes.

I don't disagree with the underlying idea here

But I would also caution heavily against doubting the simplest explanation: some unwell person, possibly a fallen Trump fan (groyper types angry he supports Israel) or some delusional Biden fan, whatever, just someone mad because Trump does objectively suck shit. Someone who hated him is the most obvious and simplest explanation and should be the assumption unless or until convincing evidence otherwise comes out.

Scientists + people who would like a not-shit planet: "we gotta move on from oil and coal."

USA: "uh yeah sure. We're working on that, even though it's fake and also... too hard. Hmm. Maybe we just won't."

China: "hey we've increased capacity to produce solar panels and they're so good now that a lot of energy needs could easily be met..."

Oil: "woah woah woah. Fake. Fake fake. Cloudy day?"

Biden: " immediately clears throat into mic uh. Today. T-today. I told. President Xi. I told. Look, China has solar and. We need solar. But we need oil! Well, anyway. I told him, I said. The batteries on these electric cars. They use resources and China is, well, I shouldn't say. Anyway. Tariffs, folks! By the way!..."

It's ok, my friend. I could tell you meant well even if it was slightly rude. I wasn't bothered by anything you said. As a self-hating American, maybe I even liked it a little bit.

Allow me the self indulgence of quoting my own post responding to this topic elsewhere. The responses are also useful even though we don't agree fully. Actual respectful discussion on a topic that (understandably) fires many people up. Remaining respectful but also not just parroting liberal talking point brain mush. Rare sight to see out in the wild.
