First career job I had, I was 26, and the next youngest employee was over 50. I had a co-worker who was 70. This is such a fucked state of affairs. We should all be retiring by about 55-60.

Is this pandering?

The funny part: American loses were triple Brittish loses. How has no American asked, why were the American War Pig Generals willing to sacrifice 3x the number of their own men? fry

This college Michigan team would whip the crap out of that NFL team.

Yes, in reference to the college textbooks on my bookshelf. Inference that we both value education, not sure that valuing education indicates membership in the PMC, seems to be counterproductive to make that connection.

It doesn't surprise me, there was a time when Nazis and the Soviet Union were a legitimate existential threat and the US had to act like they were decent, those days are unfortunately, long passed.

Personally for me, I feel like making the work day norm 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week, would solve a lot of my bedtime stress issues. The modern world demands too much of our time to get it all done, the 8 hour work day was built around a different world of nearly 100 years ago.

I think I have it, but my covid test came back negative. I'm going to take it again just to be sure. Staying home and not spreading it--recognize my privilege that I'm able to stay home. USA, capitalist hellscape, even after going through worst pandemic in 100 years, still doesn't alot mandatory sick days for workers.

Once again, the most evil nation to have ever existed reverses course and instead of making space peaceful, decides to militarize it, breaking the U.N. treaty they had previously signed which called for not weaponizing space.

My bookshelf consists of college textbooks and woodwind sheet music. Surprisingly, I found a match with a graduate degree who plays an instrument, got lucky there.
