Supposedly Egypt has relayed to Israeli that Hezbollah will get involved if there's a land invasion of Gaza

Tbh I was wondering if Israeli intelligence allowed the attack to happen so that Netanyahu gains enough popualr support to reform the judiciary

And when we killed those Iraqi children, I was upset, becuase killing children is wrong.

Seems like statements like "all Palestinian violence against Israel is not only justified but good" that I'm seeing here are implying that they're only upset about the dead Iraqis because the US is the one who killed them. Does such a statement not imply that the death of Israeli children is less of a tragedy than Iraqi children?

I think Netanyahu has already said they will need to "cleanse" Gaza 😳

Maybe not here, but when I was trying to find video elsewhere from normal Palestinians and/or Israelis all I could find was people gleefully mocking pictures of clearly traumatized civilians, of people framing the video of terrified people videoing armed men on the streets as "resistance fighters liberating Sderot"

I think a lot of people, like myself, think it's more productive to come here and talk about it than to involve ourselves on those posts on other websites.

Why does that mean I should view video of random civilians being held at gunpoint and loaded onto a truck as a good thing?

It doesn't end conflicts. All it does it forment it another generation. The 12 year old who's never lived outside of Israel in their entire life doesn't deserve "whatever they get".

This is something that's lost on people. When Israel strikes Gaza, they do so knowing it's one of the densest places on Earth and it'll be be nigh-impossible to avoid hitting civilians.

That said, putting aside the conflict up to this point, while a gazan rocket is less precise than Israeli missiles, you don't accidentally take Israeli civilians hostage in their own homes outside of Gaza.

Regardless of your opinion of Israel, I don't think it's right to say literal children aren't people. You can oppose Israeli apartheid without dehumanizing people.

I wish i had saved that graph going around right now that shows how uneven it always is. Gaza strikes a few buildings, knocks out a few windows and injures 6 Israelis and kills 1? Israeli takes out an apartment block in retaliation.

This only scales so I can only imagine the sort of genocide that might be about to happen if Israel goes ahead launches a land operation into Gaza

An Israeli invasion and occupation of Gaza would be a disaster
