I understood your case, so I don't know if this will helps anyhow, but I just wanted to suggest https://lemmyverse.net/communities as well.

Really great site to search for communities and instances, with available filtering.

Hmm I've found some comments over the internet about it, but I must confess self-hosting is not yet for me, since I'm a newbie still :(

Any other alternative or guide you can recommend ?

Thanks in advance again

Hello everyone.

Currently me and my GF have our finances organized in a Google sheet file (hosted on Google drive), being that file integrated with a Google form.

What we do is having on our cellphones a shortcut to the form, where we input all our expenses, they are directly and automatically registered in the sheet, and on another tab we've built some sort of dashboard based on all the values the form registers.

So given this context, is there any option or group of options that are open source, and that achieve this same purpose / scenario?

If possible everything acessible on a cloud or at least onlinez so we don't lose this flexibility and accessibility on our cellphones.

Thanks in advance

This! Given the premiss that you still use YouTube and not invidious or piped, there's no need to have another app on your cellphone (unless you really like it, and enjoy the app customization that revanced allows to for instance).

Mull + uBlock Origin+ SponsorBlock + script in uBlock to hide Shorts, I feel you don't need anything else :)

Great news! Does anyone know how does this compare to this one?

Hello,

From what i'm testing, the saved list is just displaying the saved post that are associated to communities on my user' instance.

Is it possible to look at this, and grab all saved posts / comments from others instances as well.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the great job :)

Hmm I seen weird haha but how about the list of posts / submissions?

On the comments I get that it's not necessary for now due to your explanation, but I feel that implementing an automatic load or something on the list of posts would be usefully.

Is infinite scrolling (instead of "Load more") on the roadmap? Thanks in advance and keep the great job :)

First of all, great job, this is now my new way to browse Lemmy on Desktop :)

I would like to make some suggestions for you to consider:

  • Infinite scrolling, instead of pagination
  • On Sidebar, present the instance / community mods (like in the OG lemmy frontend), being these ones clickable to go directly to their profile (useful to send messages to mods)
  • On Sidebar, have the same markdown as Lemmy OG on the instance / community text / description (bold, italic, etc), since today everything has the same formatting and it's harder to read
  • Togglable dark mode / light mode

thanks again for all your effort
