Cats reduce pollutants that contribute to smog that directly harm human health. But they do nothing to reduce the net carbon released into the atmosphere. In fact, by converting carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide they are hastening climate change (CO2 is a more potent greenhouse gas than CO).
Not just the upper class, most of their college educated population speaks English fluently. Although that is a minority of their total population, it is still over 80 million people.
I've never met a librarian who didn't offer enthusiastic help when asked. I'm sure there are some cranky ones out there, but I can't think of a public facing job where the workers are as cheerful and helpful as librarians. It takes a certain temperament to devote your life to encouraging others to read books.

It really says a lot that a Chinese immigrant who has lived in the US for 10 years would be astonished at the development and progress of their hometown if they revisited while Americans living abroad return home to stagnant decay and crumbling infrastructure.

She's consistently the most based celebrity activist on the global stage. (Not sure what else to label her as she isn't a celebrity who happens to be an activist but rather an activist who became famous).
His hubris was his downfall, not his lack of competence. He was a high school teacher that managed to outplay the cartel AND the DEA while building a drug empire with no previous criminal experience. Gotta be an all around genius to survive as long as he did.
