Not quite, if you had night and day price differences, those existed to encourage people consume on a time that was more convenient for the producers.
Business as usual so far. But a lot of people now know alternatives exist. So with the new influx of people this is a chance to make the alternatives more active, so they're more appealing next time Reddit pulls some shady move.
