I mean, it's an incredibly stupid plan, if so.
is it though? they've sold out wrestlemania, people will still buy it and watch every raw up until then no matter how much they complain on social media, and the trends are all about wwe programming not the trial.
Wait, I'm confused. Are you agreeing with Meltzer that this was obviously the plan all along, or are you saying that this was a quick pivot to distract from the lawsuit against McMahon?
I mean they've known about the McMahon stuff since last summer before the sale when they swept it under the rug. i'm just saying i don't think the whole rock blindsided wwe out of nowhere line of thinking has any basis in reality. i think they knew it would break and wanted a big mainstream match to deflect.
because it falls exactly in line with what we know about Dwayne Johnson as a human being behind the scenes. it also falls in line with exactly what they would do when a stupid plan bit them on the ass. there's nothing exciting about the change, it's just the rock coming out and acting like his shit from 2007 is fresh
Meltzer doesn't even bother to check sources or to investigate the leads before he runs with the story, he's a shit "journalist".
