I know it's a meme to knock on BMW drivers for this, but this just seems like your average driver of any car anymore.
All right, rant over.

That was a short rant
It’s one sentence I’m not sure how it could be shorter.
Angry!
as a person who walks a lot and takes public transportation, im extremely critical when people dont signal on right turns when im walking across the street, and it happens like 80% of the time on a lane thats right turn or straight.
The one that gets me is the lane change with a simultaneous blinker. It's like they're checking off a box but don't know why.
As someone who drives a BMW sedan the people I see most neglecting to use indicators are pickup trucks and SUVs lol
I know what the meme is supposed to represent, but the Tolkien nerd in me feels the need to correct the universal misunderstanding of the picture used.
Frodo isn't saying he can't read the inscription on the One Ring because it's in Elvish. He actually is pretty fluent in Elvish in the novel, but the inscription on the Ring was in the Black Speech, which he couldn't recognise.

I feel that. I've seen that with Trek memes.
All the BMW memes now apply to Tesla drivers near me. They are the fucking worst. Those still in BMW's are far better drivers.
Teslas have bad indicators. On older cars it's a two stage stalk
Later cars have buttons, so presumably just the first stage
BMWs at least have regular blinkers
Here in the SF Bay Area, it’s Tesla drivers. All those BMW drivers have traded in their cars for Teslas.
From my experience on the road it actually happens with most brands and BMWs specifically.
People also seemed to have forgotten that you're supposed to use it to indicate what you are planning to do and not what you're doing.
I can see you're changing lanes. I just want to know you're planning on doing that so I can anticipate ( like break a little ) rather than being cut off and having to slam my brakes.
Or that I know you'll slow down because you want to take turn, rather than randomly breaking.
Fuck i hate drivers. And I wish I could just work from home more days. The only reason I'm not is because they want, not need, me at the office 3/5.
That's why my BMW had such strong blinkers. It got all the unused blinker fluid. The whole neighborhood turns alternatively yellow and dark. Those things are bright!
As BMW driver it amuses me that I use my signals more than most of the drivers around me, but then again I got it from insurance auction, so probably not your typical BMW owner.
People often queue behind me at the traffic lights thinking im going to be faster than the car in the other lane then get annoyed when I'm not faster because im avoiding engaging the petrol engine as it's a plug in hybrid 😂 (I mainly bought it for the better ride quality as opposed to the performance or fancy badge)
It’s so easy to do it right. People are such selfish assholes. Little makes me hate humanity more than driving.
We have a saying in my country that roughly translates to this: "Where are all the BMW drivers after the first snow? Check the ditch."
Picture from a Subaru. (I believe, it's very similar to what I use, the bmws I drove were from the 80s, and driven a decade ago, not sure how their sticks were shaped, but the fog lights were on the left dashboard panel iirc)
