I was driven off ankiweb at one point because they started using Cloudflare. It looks like they now only use Cloudflare NS, so perhaps it’s only a problem during high peak traffic moments.

Apart from that, Anki is indeed a great tool. I got it running on an OLPC so I could sit in the sun and practice the flashcards on reflective LCD (a kind of e-ink).

Anki is one of my favorite tools, and I'm planning to feature it heavily in the guides here.
