I have no issues with the sex cards as such, but in the game the sex scene are often at the stranges and dumbest times. It breaks the tone and pacing of the story all the time, if they cut those it will make the game a lot better, in my opinion.

I'm sorry to say this is very faithful to the books.
Well, that is then only another addition to my list of reasons not to read those books.
I thought the books were great, at least the Geralt short stories. The Netflix series tracks the books well, at least in the first season, so if you liked that, you'd probably like the books.
The main series has little to do with Geralt and I never bothered reading them.
I don't really like Geralt as a character, because most of the time he is a huge pile of 💩, a grim dark anti hero. I liked to play Witcher 1 because of his lost memories he was a much nicer and reasonable character, unlike his self in Witcher 3 which I only played for maybe six hours and put then away.
I have seen 2 episodes of the series, no interest in seeing more.
That's probably what I like about him. He's a blade for hire that's bound by an oath to be fair. I found his moral code to be quite interesting.
I didn't care much for them back then, but I sure as fuck tried to bed every single of the ladies that could be!
I'd be sad if there were not as many romance options as the original! At the very least, Shani is bound to be more developed, I guess. That would be nice. I wish they had recognized it a bit more in TW3, but I guess they had no way to recover that from the save files :/ (unlike what they did with some of your choices from TW2)
I'll never understand people's fear of sexual content.
I don't fear sexual content, on the contrary, but often it is added in a very bad and inopportune manner. There is a time for sex and that is not in the middle of a bloody battlefield or in a cave while outside a mob prepares to kill the witch inside.
There's no inopportune time for sex scenes, only an inopportune mindset
Especially if you're Geralt of Rivia, he's the James Bond of fantasy sword fighters.
You are free to see it that way and I accept that, but I am also free to have a different opinion on that matter.
Average inopportune mindset
I mean, there's some in the Witcher 3, and they let you choose your dick/vagina in cyberpunk. The options were kind of shit, but it means they aren't that afraid of adult content.
It's possible they're telling the truth and think some of the content just wasn't good.
The dick thing in cyberpunk is all marketing. You don't even see it in sex scenes, or when you're showering.
Like I said, it was shit. But just having it exist means they're not doing the whole prude thing too much.
"First and foremost, we need an honest, down-to-earth analysis of which parts are simply bad, outdated, or unnecessarily convoluted and need to be remade," said CD Projekt Red CEO, Jakub Rokosz. Rokosz did not disclose what exactly he means by by bad, outdated, and unnecessarily convoluted. What he does note is that the team wants to "create something that is both satisfying and still resonates with the feel of the original."
Too be honest it seemed dated when I played the game. Those parts of the game felt kind of cringey to me.
The article presumes it's an issue with nudity or sex.
I don't see anything from the developer stating that.
My first thought is the first witcher game was clunky as fuck.
They put out a third person action slasher with PG elements.
They built it on the Neverwinter removedhts engine.
It wasn't made to work like that, at all. So yeah, it's clunky and outdated.
Did you just scunthorpe your comment?
Sremovedhorpe
They built it on the Neverwinter removedhts engine
Why did you censor part of your own comment in such an obviously stupid manner?
Good on them. There are parts in old games which are not worth remastering without changing them
I'm so tired
