Reverse image search says Russian Leather Beetle but I live in Western Pennsylvania of the USA which it says they aren’t native to. Any ideas?

Maybe a relative of the Russian Leather Beetle (Osmoderma eremita), like Osmoderma eremicola? It’s likely going to be hard to narrow down without clear photos, though (disclaimer: I am not a beetle expert).

It wasn’t shiny like that article claims it to be, though that may be because it climbed out of a sink drain. Who knows what was on it. However it does look very close.

This made me look up osmoderma in Pennsylvania which linked me this:

This looks exactly like it, and is what you linked. So I think your spot on since it doesn’t seem to need to be iridescent. Thanks for answering! (Sorry for the late reply. I stepped out for a bit like 20 minutes after I posted this)
