Dak shouldn't be in the running for losing to the Packers. And Purdy shouldn't for almost losing to the Packers.
MVP is a regular season award. All MVP voters get their votes in the week between the last game of the season and the first game of the post-season. That said, I agree with your sentiment in terms of the true MVP of a team in the totality of the year. Mostly because Dak always chokes and also because Purdy shouldn't even be the MVP on his own team. That would be Christian McCaffrey.
