The guy's heart is in the right place, to be sure. But the ad also 'plead(s)' for 'mercy' from Abbott, and "appeals to (his) humanity.'

Humanity and mercy do not appear to be in Abbott's repertoire, maybe because Operation Lone Star is so damn profitable.
