My spouse is visiting Cincinnati for work for the next three days and she's looking for some recommendations for things to do. She won't have a lot of time but would love some recommendations for cafes, coffee shops, and good food (she's vegetarian and really likes Indian, Middle Eastern, and Ethiopian food). She also really likes art. Thanks a lot - appreciate the help!

Update: My spouse is staying at a hotel in the Central Business District near Fountain Square.

Bridges is Nepalese cuisine over on Court (4 blocks away.)

Coffee shops

  • Coffee Emporium on Central Parkway
  • Deeper Roots by Findlay Market (take streetcar to it)

There is also a deeper roots on 4th by the convention center. Closer to the hotel, but the ride up to Findlay is well with it.

This is news to me. Is it at 4th and Elm now or...?

I might need to check this out one day while I'm at work. Didn't know they had a spot in the CBD.

To add to what curve already recommended: Sleepy bee for breakfast, and street food galore at the Findlay market. The streetcar is free so she can ride it as much as she pleases. I also like Moxy and collective espresso for coffee shops in the downtown/otr area.

Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center is just a block north of Fountain Square.

Does C town have a weekly alt newspaper? Mine publishes a lot of smaller art happenings more extensively than anywhere else. Just sayin’.
