Something I, and many other nerds, have noticed that despite being part of the DC trinity, Wonder Woman isn't nearly as popular as Superman or Batman. She's been in hundreds of comics, aided in some of the biggest events throughout the years, and has existed since nearly the beginning of DC.

How many of her comics are considered good to great, but DC hasn't created any dedicated TPBs to the same level of Superman and Batman? There's bound to be some, but I don't know either.

I think part of the problem is that despite Superman and Batman being stuck to their settings, infinite space and a broken city, Wonder Woman has essentially only gone against Greek myths and other adjacent legends. Sure, the stories and characters can be very cool, but after a while it gets a bit stale.

How interesting would it be if Wonder Woman became a myth hunting agent to protect the world from "Sensational" creatures and legends? "What about Themyscira and the Greek pantheon? Who will protect them when Diana is gone?" Just throw in Donna Troy, Nubia, Yara Flor, and some elite Amazons, they can handle it.

So what legends would she go against? Who knows? There's hundreds of different stories, myths, and ancient religions throughout the world that Diana could investigate and aid in preventing worldly or country-wide disaster.

Does an old face pop in now and again? Of course, Cheetah and Ares could be integrated, perhaps Ares can be leading to worldwide destruction by awakening ancient evils from different civilizations. Cheetah, well, she still hasn't forgiven Wonder Woman, so to see that she is being abandoned again, she'll chase down Diana. Maybe in the hands of good writer there can be a permanent change in morality for Cheetah to realize "we're all about to die because of Ares."

Imagine it, Wonder Woman fighting oni, djin, demons, and vengeful spirits around the world to piece together why these ancients are acting up and it leading back to Ares. Depending on how much for those that know Wonder Woman, it's obvious who it is that is causing this, but I think the how and why is more interesting.

I want to know what you guys think. What else could be improved and changed to make this stand out more? What legends would you personally love to see get in the comic? What new legendary characters would and wouldn't aid Diana through this journey? I'm curious to hear what you guys will say.
