/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

I'm so glad we're finally getting snow. I hope it sticks around. It makes winter bearable

I agree. In Colorado, we've had very little, and I personally like the snow (and I'm not a skier/snow-border either). We've had to smallish snowstorms all winter so far where I'm at.

I'm up in a mountain town and the last few days have been great if you don't count that it just had to happen during Texas week so now the roads are simply unusable.

The sad moment you can’t have special characters in your username.

What do you mean? Use the "display name" field. It doesn't give a fuck what you use! He could be "It's No Tits" as intended. :p

The person I replied to is correcting the use of ‘its’ (belongs to ‘it’) instead of ‘it’s’ (it is) and is named itsnotits (it’s not its).

When you just started clearing the driveway and your snowblower runs over a buried newspaper, sucks it into the impeller and snaps a belt drive ...

... now you have to shovel the whole thing by hand.

I used to love doing this by hand when I was younger but after a certain age, work like this makes you look forward to Stovokor instead.

Yeah but you’re always angry about stuff Armus.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Not too worry. We won't be troubled by snow for much longer.

Agreed. It's bullshit. Wind keeps ripping through everything here and I had to close the windows. HATE!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh I was eating snowflakes while shoveling ahah

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I am so glad I don't have to shovel anymore...
