I haven't watched much classic who, but Genesis of the Daleks was amazing.
Doctor Who
A good old fashioned Doctor Who Community
Hard to choose. City of Death is so fun seeing the Doctor cruising around Paris. The Deadly Assasin is strong too.
That moment with John Cleese and Eleanor Bron critiquing the TARDIS as a piece of modern art is going to live with me forever.
Haha yep!
I only watched a few 4th Doctor serials, but apart from the obvious Genesis, State of Decay is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine.
Lots of great episodes. I have a soft spot for "The Pirate Planet".
The Creature from the Pit. It was the first full Doctor Who story I ever watched. I was probably 8 or 9 and they used to broadcast on the local PBS station after 10PM on Saturdays. It’s not a great story or episode. But the charm and camp of “green garbage bags” monster had me hooked.
I need to go back and watch all the 4th doctor stories. So much nostalgia.
City of Death for me. Rounding out the top 5 would be Talons Of Weng Chiang, Robots Of Death, Seeds Of Doom, Ark In Space.
@HipPriest As much as I love The Ark in Space, I think The Face of Evil might be my favourite. A religion that worships an AI doesn't seem all that far-fetched today...
I haven't seen that one in ages but you're right. And I love the idea it's something the Doctor caused in the past.
Genesis of the Daleks and The Sun Makers both rewired my brain
Oh God the Sun Makers I haven't seen that one since I was a kid! Or the Invasion of Time which I saw at the same time! I think I need to revisit that season soon...
The Brain of Morbius - still freaks me out to this day. Went to the Dr Who exhibition and there it is in a glass cabinet, staring at me malevolently.
Boo!
I went to the same exhibition and know exactly what your mean....
