The Sega portables were weirdly good for the time period. I can't think of any games on them outside of Sonic.
games
Tabletop, DnD, board games, and minecraft. Also Animal Crossing.

Ristar, Mean Bean Machine, Klax, and Zoop are my faves on game gear. The Nomad was just a Genesis which was dope.
My brain glosses over any console that doesn't have sonic on it. I require blue heghog.
Anyway what games would you recommend? I've been interested in saturn but don't know where to start
Its version of symphony of the night has Maria as a playable character. There was recently a mod released that improves the game a lot and offers translation from Japanese. Video game esoterica did a video on it very recently.
I remain malding about SatCast being cancelled. I just wanna play Saturn games on my damn Dreamcast. The fucking emulator sucks a fart.
I generally like games about teams of iconic characters who hit/shoot things to make numbers come out, and end up killing God. What can the Sega Saturn do for me?
I fucking ADORE this meme
I made the apocalyptic mistake of owning a Saturn about a decade ago, before ODEs were a thing. Fuck are those games so expensive, I couldn't get abything and sold it ;(
The Saturn 3D pad is one of the greatest controllers ever made, no lie.
You coulda' burned CD-Rs . . .
Kinda ironic for Sonic to be advertising the only Sega console without an original mainline Sonic game. I can almost hear the ghost of Sonic X-treme's aborted fetus speaking to us.
You should hear the post of Sonic right above this speaking to you to buy a Sega Saturn and Fenrir ODE.
