Can't comment on other instances because of "invalid language" (lemmyrs.org)

I checked Google and the suggestion was to check my profile settings. On the profile settings page there is a warning not to uncheck "undefined" but I don't have an undefined option. My language is set to English (both of them).

Is there anything I can do to fix that issue?

I've noticed the same thing. "Undefined" should be a valid language but isn't in the list. I can comment/post via the web app if i set the language each time but I haven't been able to with jerboa.

This instance, as it stands, is unmaintained and broken due to the outdated version it's still running.

Not only is it broken with modern clients, but it also lacks functional (namely federation) and security (XSS) fixes.

You may not even see this comment, because it may not reach lemmy.rs due to the lack of the aforementioned federation fixes.
