What are peoples thoughts about how the team is playing?

Personally I think it's looking better, more creative play in build up and attacking. Granted the score at half time (0-2, both goal conceded on set pieces) tell a different story. Of course it's just a preseason game ¯_(ツ)_/¯

We could easily have had so many more goals, and the chances came from everywhere, not just Kane (and obviously not Son, who wasn't playing). We had 30 shots to their 4. Given this is only a friendly, and Ange has had very little time to work with the players, this was surprisingly good. The biggest problem is what we all know to be true: we desperately need better CBs. We need more speed and dominance at the back.

Overall, what this match was is almost *exactly * what we've be told to expect from a Postecoglou side.

I missed it with a work commitment, but sounds like we played good attacking football and stats show we dominated.

Defensive mistakes continue. A new centre back or two ASAP please!

The stats look great... On paper 😅 That's what's worrying, is it more of the same that everything looks great but the results still don't measure up, let's hope not.

Back to the match itself, the build up looked really good. Movement of the ball and creativity seemed better. Will be interesting to see how the team plays when they are tested against a better team.
