Basically what the title says. I'm assuming the answer is yes, because I would be able to fetch data but no other server would be able to fetch anything from me. So maybe I could browse other instances but not comment or post in any of them? Thanks!

Probably you could put authentik only in front of the ui endpoint but let the lemmy endpoints unauthenticated. This way the federation should still work

If they are not blocking you, they will see the posts and comments that you place on their server. If you are blocking them, you won't see their replies or comments on what you posted there.
