At this point just classify them as minibuses like they did with classifying SUVs as light trucks. That'll hopefully put enough of the transit haters off buying them /s
I've seen these trucks with "not for hire" signs on them. If you have to add signage to your personal vehicle because it has been mistaken for a tow rig or commercial hauler, you might want to rethink your choices.
Drove one once, air brakes so can't legally be driven by everyone (where I live anyway). The owner got it to bring fuel to his machinery, he got it used and it was cheaper than a similarly equipped F350...
At what point should he just buy a Semi and put a short truck bed on it!?
Most trucks are not this big, but some people definitely push the limits of useful or wise.
They're either flexing or they think those gas-guzzling monstrosities will help them win the impending second civil war which is slated to start next year.

I did'nt. This is a Ford F650 Truck and when I stepped out of my Youtube Bubble I realized, it was marketed as the "biggest, baddest Truck on the road" for the everyday American.
American here, I don't think I've ever seen someone who uses something like this as their daily driver (I do not live in Texas. No one knows what goes down in Texas). I believe this vehicle is mainly for companies, and I believe (I could be wrong) that consumers can only go up to the F-250 or the F-350. Every time I've seen an F-650, it's been a company vehicle. They're also not very common here as well (at least where I am), and I believe I've only seen like 2 F-650s in my entire life. While that may be two too many for this community, I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen more. Apparently Ford has an F-750 as well, but I've only see one of them before, and it was very surprising. I hope this helps you understand! (At least from my point of view.)
Most of us wouldn't be seen dead in such a small truck. The back axle only has a single set of tires and the child crusher isn't even installed on the front grill.
Been around for ages. They're usually outfitted as small lorries, catering trucks, moving vans, small fire engines, ambulances, tow trucks, etc. It's pretty rare to see one as a consumer vehicle.
Almost nobody can actually have one of these. Also, maybe my unpopular opinion, it is possible to have hobbies involving cars (or motorsports) and also be opposed to the foundational reliance in them for day to day use -- granted this is likely not the case with someone who buys a super duty truck just for glam points.

Nah, neither our bloodiest nor to secure oil. Much more to do with neocon dickwaving imagining that they could impose their will on long-standing enemies, and a desire to feed the military-industrial complex and get some graft in as well.
In any case, I ask myself "What the fuck" when I see these monstrosities too. Luckily, they're not that common. I imagine they'll go the way of the Hummer in a few years. Just another form of conspicuous consumption.
As silly as this thing is, it's not even remotely common. Pointlessly oversized trucks, sure, those are everywhere, but something this extreme is probably about as common as people driving an actual monster truck around on the road (I mean that's basically what it is, just with an oversized body instead of oversized tires)
I'm actually 6' 4"
Small sedans are a bit uncomfortable sure but yeah absolutely wild. A little Nissan Kicks fits just fine
6'6" and I drive a Volvo C30. Most comfortable hatchback I have ever driven. My only problem with it is all the goddamn SUVs on the road making it impossible at times to see what is ahead of me or around me. It's an arms race to go bigger and I refuse to participate. Just waiting for the day a proper 2 door electric hatchback hits the market so I can have an electric car that is not a behemoth on the road.
