Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

I'm on the assumption this is a Bug. I've made it so many links i have to other instances SHOULD open in the app by supporting those links. Instead it crashes the app upon clicking the link.

This makes it very inconvenient to find and subscribe to new communities. I would have to look for the community myself after knowing about it since the community which showcases all the new communities doesn't have a hyperlink that works, it just crashes the app and take me back to my home screen.

Quick edit: clicking the links that are supposed to redirect you to the community within your instance crashes it, whether you make it open in the app or on a browser. It just crashes.

It should be solved in the next release : Github

Awesome. Glad to see it getting noticed and worked on.

I've been experiencing the same. The only instance links which don't crash the app, open in a browser from the perspective of that instance, where I'm not logged in. So there's no "easy" way to subscribe.

This happens to me as well! Wondering if it's some weird interaction specific to some android versions or something, given it's been happening for multiple versions for me.

Yeah I've seen the same, it's so obviously a but that I've just assumed it will get fixed at some point
