You have to hunt for RSS feeds, google news finds news sources for you (and in my experience is better).

The dev also said he will work on adding reddit comments and possibly other sources of comments (lemmy or tildes).

That's a big pro for me. I make my own feed instead of someone else deciding what I should read. And it's not really hunting as it takes 10 sceconds to add a new feed. And a lot of clients have super useful features filters, tags, grouping, regex for automation, etc.
