I don't go on twitch much anymore but I can definitely recommend "Alternative Player for Twitch". Blacks out ads and has the benefit of being much lighter weight while playing videos.

I've used Streamlink Twitch GUI. Opens up the stream in mpv (via youtube-dlp) and optionally another app to handle chat like chatterino. Never had any ads and I get to have playback in mpv which lets me run everything through the same filters. I guess I don't see some of the HTML5 bullshit effects but I don't usually like those anyways.
