20 games would have been perfect but I'll take 5 over the 2 games Draymond's babysitters were calling for.

If Ja got 25 games for a second offence in less than a year of him wielding a gun in social media videos, 20 would be too many for Draymond's ~~chokehold~~ headlock I think. 5 - 10 would be appropriate I'd say. I don't know his history and if if he has priors though. I love "Draymond's babysitters"
Edit: JR on CBS Sports' JR Sports Brief listed Draymond's many priors and said that while he thought 5 games was fair, he hoped the NBA would do 10 - 15 next time Draymond does something like this. JR had a great line, in reference to how it was only GSW's winning record that's kept Draymond in the good graces of the league: "If he was on the Orlando Magic, he'd be working for Vince McMahon now in the WWE" lol
His history is that he’s been a dick on the court for years now, and the refs largely let it slide.
Thanks! Yeah, I caught a little more on the radio. Jordan Poole incident too
Yeah I think so re: JR. I wanted to call them something else that was NSFW, but pulled back. So many in the NBA circle - the NBA head office, the coaching staff, the media and fans have coddled this grown man-child's inexcusable grade school bully behaviour. I'm fed up.
Good. Should be more, but that's better than what the league (and the refs) have allowed him to do for such a long time.
It's not the first time he's gotten larger suspensions because of his history.
Sounds like he will also lose $769,970 along with the five game suspension. Little unclear if that’s on top or they’re figuring he would lose that much from the unpaid games but think it’s on top since the other 3 players involved got $25k fines.
It is to lost wages from missing the games.
Yeah it was worded odd but should have realized that was an odd fine amount now that I think of it. Was a bit high when I got the news lol.
Sabonis needs to watch out next time they see other in 6 games
What did Gobert get fined for? Is he not allowed to touch an opposing player during a fight, even if he is trying to break it up (a reasonable, though inflexible rule)?
From what I could see, it looked like he was trying to grab Thomson around the chest to drag him away, but misjudged the height difference, went in too high, and had to move his hand down.
As a big man stepping into a scuffle with two smaller people, you need to know how to control your body to avoid getting your arm around their neck. If you don't have that control, then use the time during your suspension to learn it.
Remember, these are professional athletes. They train every day on how to use their body properly.
Fair suspension.
