Hi! I'm a Beehaw user, same username. Ever since Beehaw went down I'm unable to post. I just tried submitting to the politics forum and it just never gets submitted. I press send again and again to no avail.

Am I banned? I don't think I've done anything ban worthy. If not, can you help?

Thanks!

If you've not been able to since we went down - I'd recommend to delete cache, site data and all for Beehaw and trying to log out and back in.

Though I can confirm - you aren't banned so let's work through this.

@Lionir Great! So I'm using the latest Jerboa on droid. I'll delete it and reinstall, then login again. Here's what I'm trying to submit:

And thank you! Will get back with a report after I'm done. No need to reply.

@Lionir Uhhh, did beehaw just go down again?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yes, we're back, get some hiccups and trip over the server plug (but seriously this happens every so often)

@Lionir Switched to Connect because it has a higher rating. But I still can't submit.

I imagine you just installed Connect? If you were already logged in then it won't fix the problem. The issue is that all login tokens have expired since the attack.

@Lionir No, I logged out and logged back in again. That's a fresh login.

@Lionir Here's something weird, I tried loading the politics page and got an API error.

If you try the same on the website, does it work? Had you tried setting up 2FA at some point?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

@Lionir Did not set up 2FA. Which helps here but is probably a poor long term decision.

I'll go login from the beehaw web page and try again.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

@Lionir OK, that DID work. So whatever is going on here is likely client side.

Did you clear the app's data and cache after logging out of the apps?

By the way, posting from Connect!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

@ds12 Well, I deleted Jerboa, which I had been using before. Then installed Connect and logged in. Figured that would wipe out cache and persistent cookies. Maybe not.
