17 games losing streak after that is.(I marked my id when the title says win, but I am on the losing side) A gentle reminder to myself and my sleep hours, you can get your useless rocket pass level next day and will play better while well rested.
It's casual so all fun and giggle, but how many would trap yourself chasing for that last game to push reward to next level and then entering that death downward spiral.
I stop playing when I stop having fun. Playing for rewards or even ranks just seems... gauche.
Lol, yep that's the right way, unfortunately I have tendency to finish what goal I set out to complete. Which back fires at times like this.
It was the same for me the other day. I just kept losing every single match. I wasn't feeling I am playing bad but for some reason I kept losing and I eventually gave up.
Sometimes it is one of those days and we have to recognise it to end it quickly.
Yeah, my personal amount is like 3 streak for ranked games with the exception of 1s/extra modes cause I usually just play those for the challenges. I would probably play more 1s this season cause 1s gets a small boost of MMR so I might have chance to get close to champ in 1s. I usually landed around D1~D2 without grinding.
We need to get a free clone of Rocket League without all the commercial bullshit and fake incentives. Return to the glory days when Rocket League was legitimately a breakout game from an indie studio.
The cosmetics are kinda okay compare to other games. It's my personal strength/weakness to just keep going until I achieve a goal I made up in my mind. I sometimes do this in other games as well but it might back fire like this as well. Ie, "oh let's finish this puzzle and go to this spot then save and sleep", then ended up run into unskippable boss fight and stuck there for another hour or 2.
Most of my single player games has to be on console because of this, since they can be suspended and resume next day. On PC I really can't just let go and replay a section just to get back to where I were and would easily lost sight to just play other games instead.
