If I receive an email on my Mac, then the email address that received it is written out as "To:" So I can distinguish between Gmail and Outlook.

But the mail app on my phone only shows that it is for me "To: FinancesDrone" which is annoying. Is there a possibility to change that?

Tap on FinancesDrone on your iOS device, scroll down and the email address will be marked as “recent”.

Remove one as a contact if you have it in your contact card. Or create a new contact with that email and name that contact the email address.

If you click on the recipient name to go to your contact entry, there will be a “recent” flag on the address the email was sent to.

I agree that this is pretty annoying behavior, though.
