After chaos has been restored, I “deleted” my account from Memmy (would be better to be called remove in my opinion), and the readded my account. The push notification toggle automatically is set to on (as it was before deleting), but notifications don’t come through.

So, I tried to disable push notifications in order to reenable them. However, the progress circle spins forever and it seems like it cannot be done.

Same issue with lemmy.ca

Actually, scratch that. I tried to enable push notifications on a different account and was met with the same spinning progress circle. Might be a server (Memmy push server) issue I guess.

How do you remove your account from Memmy?

I wanted to log out then back in after the hack, but I can’t find any function to remove the account in the app.

You can’t logout or delete an account if you only have one account in your settings. Easiest way is to delete and reinstall the app.

I just re-installed and now there's a log out in "Manage Accounts"! Woke up to a new icon and looks nice.

You should be able to re-enable them now.

Still spinning circle for me. Have to manually kill the app and restart and re-enter password.

Yes, that's one of the issues I'm working on.
