Tapping home in the bottom bar to reach the top would be nice.
Liftoff!
A mobile client for Lemmy running on iOS and Android
This please
I swear it did for like a day, I could have sworn I saw a post about that update. Maybe it was a different app 🤷
That's how I'd like it to work too, it makes sense.
Mine only says open in browser and Nerd stuff when I just tested on the lemmy.ml feed
Edit: If I'm on the home and click the lemmy.ml logo in the tab to view the instance then there is no scroll to top option, but if I click all instead then there is the option to scroll to top.
+1 for this solution or tapping twice. Because of some reason I'm already doing that. Even though nothing happens.
The three dot menu in the top bar has a scroll to top button in it
'Back to Top' . As you said, it exists
My issue was that I couldn’t see the top bar without scrolling all the way to the top. I’ve since seen it slide down without having to go all the way back up, but I can’t figure out how to get it to show on demand
What version are you on? Once you begin to scroll up the nav bar will show
Version 0.10.7 I also do not see the three dots nor any way to go back to top once I have scrolled a bit
This doesn't happen for me either, same version. It'll kinda try sometimes, partly scrolling into view. It doesn't properly interact with scrolling until the top
Small scroll up, at max half a post, usually pulls the menu down for me to see the 3 dots and be able to refresh or goto top
If you do a small scroll up (like a 2cm drag down on the screen if that makes sense) the top bar should show and the three dots menu has a back to top button. I'm on 0.10.7 of liftoff
Ah! Thank you! Tried it out and got it to work each time. I think I couldn’t get it earlier bc I was dragging too far or not far enough
I've notice you need to "flick" it instead of hold, drag down, let go.
@starlinguk OP is using Lemmy. I agree this is a nice feature on kbin :)
I am glad that my difficulty in getting registered on lemmy instances led to trying out kbin early. It really does feel a lot more polished currently, and I still get all the lemmy content.
