Oh wow that's a whole new kind of awful I didn't know about. Blocking their dash cam with their hood?

Well I know I'm officially on the Reddit alternative when I see a repost from 6 years ago. Body worn cameras have become pretty much standard and dash cameras are of much less benefit once the vehicle is stopped. Yes, putting the hood up to block the camera is obviously suspicious but this is a very old post. It's time to move on to tactics. Used to skew the angle of the bodyboard camera.

Ah I see, so it's not a new tactic, it's a very old one.

And if they try to stop you, let them arrest you but disable your device before they can access it. Then find the local ACLU and return the trouble to the cops

They just smash phones the majority of the time. Unless you’ll be able to automatically update your photo/video to the cloud.

It's sad to see how badly the police need more funding, their vehicles braking down en masse like that!

^___^ Some liberal, probably

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: [email protected]
