I can't see my own posts in my profile. I guess that's a side effect of my settings to hide all read posts. Still, this is confusing and causes challenges.

It is indeed side effect of "hide all read posts" settings option. Applies to all apps/frontends. I think there is a GitHub issue to exclude your own posts from the settings option.
