ETA: It has been brought to my attention that San Jose is not, in fact, a neighborhood in LA. Sorry, I'm from Iowa.

I'd really like to hear the realtor's description of this. "Yeah it's got an inactive meth lab but with a couple street contacts and a little elbow grease you could have it up and paying for itself in no time!"

Business opportunity with an established and reliable customer base

The listing says San Jose. So, not LA.

But I thought Meth Labs were a southern tradition /s

San Jose is quite a drive from LA

Everywhere in California is LA to anyone outside of California

how I see it, outsiders see California in two different locations, LA and San Francisco(Bay Area), which the latter is bundled with.

Yeah but you could pretty much fit all of Portugal in the distance between them

Here I was thinking California was IN L.A.

LA is also quite a drive from LA

Too bad it's inactive. They could have gotten another $125k.

Inactive Meth Lab means bulldoze the current structure and build a similar one where this one stood. That house is ruined inside and out.

I like the idea that they found out it was a meth lab and then increased the price. “Purchase this combination home and small business! Great investment opportunity for future owner/operator!”

I wonder if there's some government-backed amelioration they're teasing.

As an identified dangerous site, maybe you can get subsidies to tear it down in the name of "removing contamination", making it net cheaper than any other similar shack if your endgame is teardown-and-rebuild.

Free meth making tools? pog-fish

That looks exactly like the house Jessie Pinkman crawled out the second story window of and fell off the roof.

Was this in commercial or residential real estate?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago

Landlord: well I won't be living there, sold

[–] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago

The home is a money pit. The meth lab is just a fixer-upper

[–] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago

so a selling point like game room or are the interior walls missing?

San Jose is the most expensive city to live in the USA . even more than Manhattan or San Francisco

this is honestly a cheap inactive meth lab to buy in San Jose most go for at least double that price
