That explains the comment by the Chinese Foreign Minister a bit better. Another user argued it was due to the differences in what such allegations mean in China and other countries like Finland. I found that a bit strange. The foreign minister should be aware or at least briefed about how things work in other countries before issuing such statements that at the least imply anyone is following some anti-chinese agenda for whatever idiotic reason they could make up.

Maybe they are really worried about that, but I myself think it more likely to be manipulate in the best case and a veiled threat in the worst.

Chinese politicians are such a weird and defensive bunch. Just acknowledge if you fucked up and let the people have their investigation. If it was an accident then that's still terrible, but shit happens. What's Finland gotta do, nuke Bejing over an accident?
