Yes, I don't get it. Grew up in a Muslim family, I'm not a real Muslim anymore, but I've never heard of this. All my parents wanted was for my brothers to look 'neat'. Like short hair, no beards. Moustaches were allowed so my father could laugh at my brothers trying to grow something.
I wonder if it's more a regional thing and you're from another country or something?
Afaik not. Just Google photos of streets in Muslim countries and you'll find a lot of fade haircuts
Yeah, and also that hadith in the post is about ponytails, not fade cuts.
