I still rock a T430 with a quad core, SSDs, 16gb of ram and a upgraded 1440p screen. Works well with Window10 and Linux. I did the T420 keyboard mod so I still get the older keyboard.

The T530 certainly makes sense. I run even older hardware. I daily drive a Core 2 Duo until recently. I do not think I could get away with 4 GB of RAM anymore though.

T530 represent! Still going strong and no desire to swap it out.
