I'm having the same issue, and communities like this one weren't showing up when I searched for them (I had to go to Posts and find a post from here)
Edit: Same problem on Wefwef, looks like a lemm.ee issue

I’m using wefwef rn and my communitys seem okay, memmy is still not showing them though
This is happening for me too. I couldnt even find this community in memmy so I’ve had to use wefwef to find and post this comment lol
I’m having a similar issue, both subscriptions and searching for it gives nothing but wefwef shows my subscription list just fine
Have the same issue
Same issue with mine too. But my subscriptions load and work normally on this same account when I use the mlem app.
Got the same thing I’m on lemm.ee as well
I have a similar issue with lemmy.dbzer0 but I also have that issue with Mlem. Wefwef works for some reason.
This is unfortunately not a Memmy issue but a server issue with your instance :(
Ohh, alright! Thanks for the clarification though
Are you sure? It's happening with my account on lemmy.ml, the main instance, as well. I can see all of my subscriptions from the web version as well.
WefWef shows my subscribed communities too.
I'm going to look into what might have changed. I can see my .world subscriptions but not my .ml subscriptions.
Thanks for taking a look. I know my .id subscribtions aren't showing either.
So oddly, the endpoint we use isn't returning anything. There's another way to get the information so I think that maybe there's something going on in the new versions that's causing this. Both .ml and .ee are using the new version while .world is not. I'll look into it and submit a bug report if that's the case.
No subs for aussie.zone either if that helps
I'm actually seeing this issue on other apps too, so I'm thinking it is definitely an API issue. WefWef appears to work, but they might be getting the info from a cache or from another API endpoint. Going to keep looking into it.
Found this https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3515
Wondering if there were some breaks around communities as well.
Interesting haha. Good work on being responsive to feedback and looking into that so quick. It’s honestly probably nothing to do with the app, and more of an issue with how fast Lemmy is growing.
Haha I consistently fix an issue by breaking something else, so totally feel for the Lemmy devs going through all this at such a quick pace. Hopefully it will be resolved here soon 👍
One other quick question, and this may totally be a backend thing as well. For example, there’s a community on Lemmy.ml called USA. If I’m searching for that in app, it’s not returning anything. Can you see that as well from your end?
So I fixed this in the next version where you can just enter community@instance and it will go directly there without searching. For now, yea I can't see it. Just subscribe on the website and it will show up in your subscriptions...or it won't because it's broken right now lol. But yea, it will be in the next version. It's already fixed but Apple released an older version 😅
Looks like the Lemmy devs pushed the commit to role back the changes, so hopefully we’ll see those trickle down into the servers in a day or two.
Weird. They’re all there for me. Did you try app restart, phone restart, and/or clearing the app cache?
Yeah, I have tried all of that. Unfortunately did not work
Ah bummer. I don’t know how to fix it then unless you’ve maybe tried logging out of the app, clearing cache, and then relogging in?
Perhaps deleting the app and reinstalling?
What worked for me was deleting and reinstalling the app.
Tried that and unfortunately didn’t work either. Hopefully the problem will solve by itself, ‘cause I’m not sure what to do - to fix it.
Seems more people from other instances have the same issue
lemmy.ml too
