Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

My Lily 58 I built last year. Love this thing to pieces and it's my daily driver ever since

Thanks. I know little about Wacom tablets. Was thinking maybe it could be used as a touchpad with your finger.

Ah okay. No, sadly you can't use it without the pen. The main usage is indeed for artsy stuff where a pen is required but it can be used as a normal input device. Linux drivers are top notch too

Doesn't seem to exist anymore but the Bamboo tablets did work with fingers and stylus.

Are you using the Wacom as a pointing device?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I do sometimes, yes. I have a keybinding to switch the monitor the wacom is bound to. Although I must admit that there is a mouse if I'm too lazy to use the pen

Nice setup, I too love this board and haven’t had the urge to build anything else for a long time.

Right? Perfect size, still super portable, easy to build and flash, what's not to love? Do you have a photo of your board? I am constantly looking for new ideas for keycaps etc.
