Glad that we had last season with him, it was nice to see the redemption arc come to a completion.

€20mil definitely would be great business. Farewell Xhaka.. Greatest Arsenal redemption ark.

I'm not ready to see him go... can't believe I'm saying that after all that shit but man he turned it around. Always had nothing but love for the club, just took us a while to realise.

@Astrealix Granit seems to me like Roy Kent in Ted Lasso. A real hard man on the pitch, and probably everywhere, but more passionate than anything. I will miss him too.

“Granit Xhaka is edging”

Me too Granit. Me too.

TalkSport also confirmed the fee: https://twitter.com/talkSPORT/status/1675899214423810048?t=EgICq0AYju3g4tYNCRhnqw&s=19

BREAKING: Granit Xhaka is close to completing a £21.5m move from Arsenal to Bayer Leverkusen.

Always had his back and don't want to see him go, but at least the fee is decent

Looks like it was the right decision to hold on to him to get a bigger fee from Bayer Leverkusen. Edu seems to have learned some lessons from the past.

Finally doing transfer business like the club we are - key squad member with 1 year left on his contract and getting more than a few million felt impossible a few years ago

Absolutely brilliant if we can sell him and partey. Bring in more players for more youth

I think that if we sign more players this window, it will be mostly young and cheap development players. Someone like Lavia for example. If Partey leaves hope we can get a similar fee for him as well.
